This map looks at homeowners and renters in the city of Lansing.
Some of the data is predictable and yet some might be surprising: downtown is heavily rented, as well as the area south of Forest View (lots of college apartments). The suburbs are largely owner-occupied. Moores Park is an area close to downtown which has largely resisted renter occupation. Greencroft Park is another area which is mostly owner occupied. The further you move away from the center, unsurprisingly, the more people live in their own home.
